Tambó Tambó | Martín Vejarano & MAGIA GAITERA | Live in Cartagena, Colombia

Led by the soaring sound of traditional gaita flutes and grounded in the powerful rhythms of Afro-Colombian tambor drums, Tambó Tambó evokes the vibrant spirit of Colombia’s Caribbean coast. Recorded live in Cartagena, this performance features a curated ensemble of master musicians brought together by Martín Vejarano. Tambó Tambó is one of five original compositions from the album EL CAZADOR, a project exploring the deep musical dialogue between gaita flutes and Afro-Colombian drum traditions. The performance celebrates rhythm, community, the living cultural heritage of Colombia’s gaita music pioneers, and the magic of the Caribbean.
