Event setup

Put the details in one place.

Your event page

Give people the artwork, description, dates, location, and ticket options they need to decide. Add a featured video when there is more to show.

Setup guide

Repeating events

Set up recurring dates for a class or regular program. Manage your upcoming and past events from your organization’s dashboard.

Setup guide

Team access

Assign roles and permissions to the people working with you, so event management does not depend on sharing one login.

Setup guide

Capacity & availability

Track sales against the room’s capacity. Update event details, ticket prices, and availability as your plans change.

Setup guide

For exampleA weekly class can have recurring dates, its own description, and several ticket options.

Tickets & checkout

Choose what a ticket gives someone.

Paid tickets & free RSVPs

Set your prices and offer different admission tiers. For a free gathering, collect registrations without a Mezaj ticketing fee.

Setup guide

Festival & multi-entry passes

Bundle a defined set of events into a festival pass, or offer a credit-based pass for repeat visits. Set up the included events before you start selling.

Setup guide

Add-ons

Offer an extra item, meal, or upgrade alongside admission. Add-ons are separate from the tickets that count toward event capacity.

Setup guide

Promo codes & private tickets

Create fixed or percentage discounts with dates, usage limits, and eligible ticket types. Secret codes can unlock hidden tickets for a particular group.

Setup guide

Questions & waivers

Ask for information from the buyer or each attendee. Make a question required, or show it only for the ticket types that need it.

Setup guide

Reserved seating

Let guests choose a seat from your venue’s plan. Seating charts are currently offered in beta for selected organizers; contact the team for setup.

Setup guide

For exampleA weekend festival can offer single-show tickets, a pass covering all scheduled shows, and an optional meal.

At the door

Check tickets. Add walk-ups. Take payment.

QR scanning & guest search

Use the Mezaj Check-in app on iOS or Android to scan tickets. Search by name when a guest cannot find their code, and filter the list by arrival status.

Setup guide

Walk-up & complimentary guests

Use Add Guest to choose a ticket tier and quantity, record a cash payment, or add a guest for free. Card-reader payments use a configured Stripe Terminal.

Setup guide

Tap to Pay on iPhone

Take contactless card and wallet payments in the check-in app. Requires an iPhone XS or later, current iOS, a connected Stripe account, and a supported country or region.

Setup guide

Payouts through Stripe

Connect your Stripe account to receive ticket revenue and manage your bank details. Payout timing follows your account’s schedule and eligibility, including any initial waiting period.

Setup guide

For exampleA guest arrives without a ticket: add them at the door and use the payment method your team has set up.

Your audience

Know who came. Keep them informed.

Emails to ticket holders

Send a change of time, arrival instructions, or a follow-up to your event’s guests. Select active, refunded, or specific ticket holders when the message is only for them.

Setup guide

Event reminders

In-person attendees receive a reminder 24 hours before the event. Online-event reminders go out 15 minutes before, with the access link.

Setup guide

Patron records & exports

See attendance, purchases, membership status, and marketing preferences together. Export your patron list when you need to work with it elsewhere.

Setup guide

Sales & reporting

Follow ticket sales and revenue in your dashboard, then export CSV reports for your own records and analysis.

Setup guide

For exampleIf the start time changes, send the update to the people holding active tickets for that event.

Website & connections

Use Mezaj with the site you already have.

An embedded event calendar

Show upcoming events on your website with a calendar that updates when your listings change. Choose colors, fonts, list or grid views, search, and date filters.

Setup guide

A standalone calendar

Use the same branded calendar as a page you can link to directly. Embedding is included at no extra cost; you do not need to rebuild your website.

Setup guide

Webhooks & Zapier

Use order, ticket, and membership activity to trigger work in another system. Connect a Zapier workflow or send updates to your own server.

Setup guide

Custom API integrations

Build a tailored connection to your event data. Contact Mezaj for API access and help defining what your website or workflow needs.

Setup guide

For exampleAdd a calendar to your venue’s website once; new events and changes then appear there automatically.

Make the next visit easier.

Your event joins Mezaj’s searchable listings. Keep your own website, too, with event and calendar widgets.

After the show, attendee emails and patron records help you stay connected with the people who came.

How we calculate this
Mezaj fees →$0.69 + 1% per paid ticket$0.94 per ticket at your price
Humanitix fees ↗2.1% + $0.99 per paid ticket$1.52 per ticket at your price
Eventbrite fees ↗3.7% + $1.79 per paid ticket$2.72 per ticket at your price

Standard US online rates, checked October 13, 2026. We round each ticket’s fee to cents, then multiply by tickets sold. This compares ticketing fees, not the full cost of checkout. Custom and nonprofit rates may differ.

Percentage more = (provider’s ticketing fees − Mezaj’s ticketing fees) ÷ Mezaj’s ticketing fees × 100, rounded to the nearest whole percent.

Humanitix’s US pricing page separates ticketing (2.1% + $0.99) from processing (2.9% + $0.30). Its help center lists a combined 5% + $1.29 booking fee. We use the separately listed ticketing rate here so processing is excluded for all three.

A few practical questions

Is the ticketing fee the full cost?

No. The $0.69 + 1% USD rate is Mezaj’s platform fee. Payment processing is additional. See the fee breakdown for currencies and processing details.

Can I use Mezaj on my existing website?

Yes. Use calendar and event widgets, or build a custom integration with the API.

Can I choose the fee my guests pay?

Yes. You set the ticket price and any additional checkout fee. That choice is separate from Mezaj’s platform fee and payment processing. Read how ticket prices and fees work.

What needs help from the Mezaj team?

Contact the team for reserved-seating setup and API access. Tap to Pay and card-reader payments also require compatible equipment and a connected Stripe account. Ask about your setup.

Can you help with promotion or email workflows?

Marketing services are available separately. For tailored email workflows, ask about availability for your account. Talk to the team about scope and pricing.

What about memberships and venue booking?

Memberships help you build a recurring relationship with your community. Versus, built by Mezaj, handles venue booking and settlement operations.
